OperaHub seeks male singers for the roles of Torquemada (tenor), Gonzalve (tenor), Ramiro (baritone) and Don Inigo Gomez (bass) for our January 2009 production of Ravel's L'Heure Espagnole.
Auditions will be held by appointment on Saturday, September 13th from 2-5 p.m. Please email auditions@operahub.org with your name, voice part, resume, and requested audition time (if any) to schedule your audition. For the audition, please prepare two arias, at least one in French. You may be asked to prepare a short excerpt from the score, which will be sent to you in advance of the audition.
Rehearsals will begin in November and performance dates are January 21-25, 2009. All roles are volunteer.

Founded in 2007 in association with the Sebastian Chamber Players of New York City, OperaHub is committed to bringing high-caliber, accessible, fresh interpretations of opera to the greater Boston community.
We are dedicated to creating a unified musical/dramatic experience through collaboration with local artists, focusing on innovation and experimentation in the production of opera.
We believe that opera performed in an intimate setting gains vibrancy and depth, and that affordable, accessible performance of opera should also be exciting, beautiful, and fresh.
