EL GATO CON BOTAS
EL GATO CON BOTAS
By Xavier Montsalvatge
Libretto by Néstor Luján
Sometimes all you need to make your dreams come true is a furry friend in fashionable footwear.
Gato is a scruffy pet cat who teaches his poor master to believe in the impossible. When he puts on boots and gets dressed for success, he leads us on an outrageous rags-to-riches adventure. Along the way we meet a beautiful and savvy princess, a nasty ogre, and a parade of magical shoes brought to life as animals. This family-friendly one-act fairy tale adventure features tuneful music and fantastical puppetry.
Sung in Spanish, English supertitles available.
Recommended for adults and children ages 6 and up. Children of all ages have attended previous performances.
